The theme for National Volunteer Week 2012 is: Volunteers - Every One Counts

National Volunteer Week is the largest celebration of volunteers and volunteerism in Australia, and provides an opportunity to highlight the role of volunteers in our communities and to say thank you to the more than 5 million Australians who volunteer.

The Frankston Volunteer Resource Centre has a team of seven volunteers who are passionate about connecting volunteers with organisations that engage volunteers. We assist over 200 people each month with volunteering opportunities and information. We currently have over 1200 different volunteering opportunities on our database. This is an ideal time to contact us to discuss how you can volunteer in the community.

On May 14 we will hold an Afternoon Tea for Volunteer Managers from the many Not For Profit organisations registered with us. For information contact our Coordinator, Simone Schweigert on 9768 1674.
