Does your organisation host student volunteers?
At various times of the year we receive an increase in the number of secondary and tertiary students looking for volunteer opportunities. The needs of the students vary considerably. Some are looking for just a few days, some a couple of weeks, others for two-three months.
The FVRC are compiling a list of organisations who are able to accept students. Before taking on student volunteers it is important to consider your organisations ability to do so, including supervision, insurance, holders of Working With Children Checks and Police Checks.
If you have volunteer opportunities that may be suitable for students and would like to be included on our list please send an email to: email@example.com.
