The Frankston Volunteer Resource Centre has volunteering opportunities to suit everyone's taste. We register and refer 100's of volunteers each month and it is our aim to put you in touch with opportunities you feel are the best match for your interests and goals.

Coast Guard Frankston

Fully volunteer service providing assistance, rescue and education to the boating community. Each year Coast Guard volunteers perform thousands of activations.

Rescues range from:

  • assisting sinking vessels
  • vessels with flat batteries and other mechanical problems
  • vessels that have run aground
  • and often towing these disabled vessels back to safe harbour.
